Assemblies are a very powerful feature of Profile Builder and it does take some time and effort to understand how all of the settings work.
Many users ask for help to create a specific railing, wall, or other assembly.
Sorry, but we do not currently offer any support services for creating assemblies for you.
However, we can provide you access to several resources that should help you create almost any assembly you can imagine!
Online User Guide and Tutorials
Don't forget about our detailed video tutorials. There is a ton of great information available here and it is worth the time to go through it all.
3D Warehouse Assembly Collection
One of the best resources for learning how to make custom assemblies is to download and play around with the Assembly Collection on the 3D Warehouse.
Any of the assemblies in this collection can be downloaded and imported into SketchUp. Then, just use the 'Get Assembly Attributes' button in the Assembly dialog to load the assembly settings. From there, you can experiment with the various settings to better understand how they work. You can also add, remove, replace, and tweak the various assembly parts to make your own custom version of the Assembly.
We plan to keep adding to this collection over time so make sure you check it periodically for new content.
