Spans with mitred corners
Hi,
I am trying to create a scaleable window assembly. The frames of the windows are moulded and mitred at the corners. I am struggling to wrap my brain around how to split this down into different comments, profiles and spans so that I can adjust the overall width of the window whilst maintaining both the proportion of the moulding and mitre junctions.
I know I could split the frame after the corner of the window frame and have the all the horizontal frame pieces extending horizontally in a span (as the glass does), but I don't want to do this because it will introduce a join line where there shouldn't be one.
I am sure this has been answered before so can someone please point me in the right direction of where I can learn how to do this?
Thanks very much.

Thanks Omar. As you say though, this will introduce a visible edge that shouldn't be there. If I create the whole frame as a component and scale to fit it as a span, this will maintain the mitres, but it will still throw out the proportions of the moulding when I scale the windows.
