Redraw PB profiles when scaling its groups

Hello Dale,

I am looking for way to make a dynamic curved objects inside SketchUp, For example if we have a dynamic door or window with curved frames, the dimentions for linear Groups/Components could be controlled easly by Dynmaic Components attributes, but the curved Groups/Components could not be controlled, and that results to this:

So my suggestion to mentain the Profile Dimenssion for the curved groups inside dynamic Components is this:

When any PB Group are scale (specially if they are nested in Componets/Groups) a popup could showup asking for Redraw PB3 Profiles with new path scale and apply scale defintion to them.

I hope that could be implemented.

  Hi Mousa,

  It's a cool idea.  However, to do this, we would need to use a complicated system of Observers which are notoriously prone to bugs and crashes especially when combined with Dynamic Components.

  I have made note of your suggestion and we will consider it for the future.  Thanks for the feedback!

  Thanks Dale, I am glade that you like this idea. I suppose if that implemented, it would be a game changer, specally when we scale curved objects, screens patterns, complex windows and doors while mentaning PB profiles dimensions, like these below:
