will Skimp reduce size of an entire model?

I've got a 157 MB model. If I turn the entire thing into a single component, will Skimp reduce the complexity and file size of the entire thing?

  Hi Bob - Yes, in theory it can reduce the entire thing.  You wouldn't even need to make it a component.  You can open the model and then select all objects and click the button to simplify your selection.

  However, Skimp works best for high polygon organic models.  If your model is made up of simple shapes (like a building), you will find that it won't be as effective.  I hope this helps.  Best to order a free trial and see for yourself!
