How would one edit a 3D mesh file (Sketchup and Vray)
I have purchased a 3D Mesh of my site, and in doing so, received all the associated files. My need is to replace a building that exists with a building that I am designing. How does one go about editing the 3D mesh on the Vray side of things? More specifically: I am using the Sketchup file to "look around" and model, but my plan is to use Vray to render it. So my workflow would be to take the Sketchup Mesh and explode the groups in there, show hidden lines... delete all the faces and edges I don't need (because they will be replaced with my new design theoretically) and this works if you are in Sketchup only... then to render, I would load the vrmesh file to the skethcup file, but the vrmesh file has the old building in it! How does one edit a VRMESH file??? is it even possible?

Hello - thanks for purchasing the 3D Mesh product! Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to edit the VRMESH file. You may need to instead open the raw FBX file using 3ds Max (or some other program that can import FBX) and edit it that way.
Then, you could import your SketchUp model into the edited FBX model and render from there. Do you have access to a program that can import the full resolution FBX file and edit them?
