Connection PLates size

First day looking at the new Sketchup extension and ive not been using Sketchup for that long either so forgive me if these are dumb questions.

Is there anyway to alter the connection plate sizes or are they all pre set?

Can you use your own connection plates designed in Sketchup, I have some ive already set up with Profilebuilder4 and it would be useful to integrate them.

  Hi Nick - the connection plate size is controlled by your current Standard connection parameters (pitch, edge distance, gage, etc.).  There is currently not way to set the size explicitly although others have requested this feature and we will consider adding it in the future.

  Regarding pre-made connection plates...no, these cannot be integrated with DECAsteel in any parametric way.  You can certainly include other plate components in your model but they won't be editable using DECAsteel tools.
