Could you confirm whether Placemaker’s “Import 3D Earth” pulls the latest Google Earth 3D data, or if there’s a lag between what we see in Google Earth and what gets imported into SketchUp?

  Hi, as of right now the difference between PlaceMaker "Import 3D Earth" and Google Earth 3D data is that Google has not yet exposed the highest level of detail to their API (PlaceMaker). So Google Earth 3D in some areas will have a slightly higher level of detail when compared to PlaceMaker max resolution tiles.

  We have not been notified of or found any other differences between the datasets at this time.
