Knife Plate Connection

I just downloaded this and am giving it a go.

Is there a way to specify how far from either the column of the end of the knife plate the center holes will be? I don't see an option but the standard its going with isn't far enough from the beams end for most projects I work on

  Hi Marc - thanks for checking out DECAsteel!  We plan to add more options to control hole placement in the future.  Unfortunately for now, the customization of these connections is somewhat limited.

  I have the same issue putting a knife plate connection on 6" x 6" square tube column to 12" channel beam. It will insert all the parts and make the correct cuts/adjustments to the beam but it will not put the bolts where they need to go in relation to the end of the beam. I have tried the angle clip connections as well but the same issue presents itself. I recently found the standards file and changed a few things in there to see what it would do and when I change the shear edge distance it changes the length/size of the connection plate/angle. When I change the rolled edge distance I can get the bolts to move in and out from the end of the beam but not to the location I need them.

  Thanks for the feedback, Matthew!  We are working on this issue currently so you can expect this to be fixed and more customizable in a future update.
