Favorite Views

The Favorite Views dialog lets you save and load named camera views.  These views can then be accessed inside other SketchUp models or even from other SketchUp versions on your computer.

The list of favorite views is not saved with the model.  Similar to user preferences, the list of favorite views is accessible from any SketchUp model you open on your computer.

Saving a View

1. Use SketchUp's camera controls to setup your camera view.
2. Click the 'Save' button in the Favorite Views dialog.
3. Enter a name for the view.
4. Click OK and the view will be saved and added to the list of favorite views.

Loading a View

1. Select the view you wish to load from the dropdown list.
2. Click the 'Load' button to load the view and apply the camera settings.

Updating a View

1. Select the view you wish to update from the dropdown list.
2. Click the 'Update' button to apply the current camera settings to the selected view.

Renaming a View

1. Select the view you wish to rename from the dropdown list.
2. Click the 'Rename' button.
3. Enter a new name for the view and click OK.
4. The selected view will be renamed.

Deleting a View

1. Select the view you wish to delete from the dropdown list.
2. Click the 'Delete' button to delete the view from the list of saved views.
