Quantity of component based on available lengths

Is there a way for QP to pull specific lengths based on availability? For example QP tells me that my 2x8 rafter length  is 131". Is there a way set it up to know that it would need a 12' - 2x8? Same for sheet goods. I have my wall assemblies created in profile builder but I get a total SF but would like a piece count.

  Hi Mike - sorry, that feature does not exist.  A lot of people have asked for such a feature built right within Profile Builder, but it also might make sense to put it in Quantifier Pro.  What do you think?

  One thing you can do is to use QP 'factors' to convert from raw total length to a specific length / area.  For example. if you use a 'factor' of 0.0833 (1/12) you can convert from total length (in ft) to total number of 12' 2x8s.
