Projected Area (m2) not showing correct result

When I use Wall Profile to create walls, then create openings for windows and doors (either using manual push tool, or hole tool in profilebuilder), the projected area didn't showing the correct result. It didn't account the reduction caused by openings. Any solution for this? Thanks

  Hello Galih,

  Thank you for your question!  We are well aware of this issue.  If you are using Quantifier Pro to calculate the projected area of walls and you want to make sure that you account for the reduction in openings, then we recommend to create the walls as vertical 'slab' or 'panel' elements using the native SketchUp tools.  See this article here:

  You are not the first to mention this issue.  We will be looking at this closely in a future update to see if it is possible to account for these openings when creating the object as a Profile Member.  It is a very complicated problem because profiles can be any shape and extrusion paths can be any direction.  This makes the calculation for projected area of a Profile Member very complex when considering openings.
