I'm looking to use Profile Builder to create awnings, but I don't see a way to apply an angle to the rafter component other than setting a fixed angle when adding it to the assembly.

While I’m sure other challenges will come up during the building process, I wanted to ask the group for their thoughts on using Profile Builder for this.

  Hi Joseph - do you want to share an image of what you are trying to create?  The way I understand the problem, you would be right in saying that the rafter component angle is 'fixed'.  You would need to create additional assemblies for other angle options.

  It is certainly possible to create such assemblies with Profile Builder 4, even ones that wrap around a corner. However, you would need to create a separate assembly for each roof angle and width of the awning.  Once you create these, you can save them in your library and then use them to create awnings of various lengths as required.  And you can easily swap out awnings of different widths / angles in your model if the design changes.
