Materials projected on groups?

Hello community,

I have the impression that if I apply a material to a profile or assembly by using the dropdown-menue, the material gets projected as well to the group, wich is created in SketchUp AND to the geometry wich lies within.

Our rendering-software produces massive problems, when confronted to materials ON groups...it only works properly when the used materials are IN the groups (meaning on the geometry that lies within the group).

Is there any chance of getting this solved, so that PB only projects the material to the geometry?

I´m not a native speaker and hope that my description is understandible....greetings: PROELAN

Thanks for your feedback. We changed how materials were applied in version 3.2.0: https://profilebuilder4sketchup.com/release-notes/

This is because we had so many users request that the material get applied to the group so that it would show up in SketchUp-generated reports and Quantifier Pro reports.

If this newer behavior does not work for you, you could try installing an older version from the link below:
