PlaceMaker has worldwide coverage of aerial imagery (via Mapbox) and roads. Coverage for other data such as 3D buildings can vary depending on your location. Also, some imagery providers such as Nearmap and Hexagon only have coverage in certain parts of the world.
The best way to discover if a specific location is available in PlaceMaker is to order a free Pay-As-You-Go license of PlaceMaker.
Using the SketchUp version, this license allows you to see a free preview of the OpenStreetMap 3D data in whatever area you are interested in. That way, you can check the coverage and quality of the data before you purchase any credits or buy a subscription.
Another way check for 3D OSM building data coverage for free is to go to osmbuildings.org.
However, the buildings shown on that website may not match perfectly with what PlaceMaker imports. It should still give you a reasonably accurate preview of the amount of the PlaceMaker buildings coverage for a given location.
