Managing Profiles

We recommend that your profiles be stored in an organized system of folders on your local computer or network, similar to how you might store your SketchUp Component Library.

Profile folders can be stored at any location as long as you have security permissions to write files to that particular folder.

Home Profile Library

Your home profile library location can be set by going to the menu Extensions -> Profile Builder 4 -> Preferences.

You should set your home library location to the root directory of your local or network profile library.  Then, you can click the Home icon when browsing for profiles to jump to that directory.
