Nearmap Point Cloud is delivered in a ZIP file containing LAS point cloud files.
Once the files have been processed and delivered, you can access the data from the PlaceMaker history tab.
SketchUp PlaceMaker Plugin
- Click the import transaction in the history tab
- Click the Download button to download the ZIP containing the LAS point cloud files.
- A dialog will be displayed showing the transformation settings required to properly geolocate the point cloud
- Use the Trimble Scan Essentials Extension to import the LAS point cloud and set the X,Y,Z transformation
Revit PlaceMaker Plugin
- Click the import transaction in the history tab
- Click the Download button to download the ZIP containing the LAS files
- Convert the LAS files into RCP files using Autodesk Recap
- Link the RCP Point Cloud files in Revit to view them
Other Applications (PlaceMaker Web)
- Click the import transaction in the history tab
- Click the Download button to download the ZIP containing the LAS files
- Import the LAS files into your application (steps vary depending on application)
