Shop Drawings

This feature is currently in a very early stage of development and is considered experimental.

This feature is not currently working at all when using SketchUp 2025.  We hope to fix this in a future update.  If you want to use this feature, please use SketchUp 2024.

The intent of this feature is generate a Page in a Layout document for each structural element in your model which is automatically dimensioned and annotated.

Customizing Shop Drawing Export

You can define a Template file for the Shop Drawings in your Standard. The template file should include a single Page with a title block, dimension and label.

The title block should be on a shared Layer.  The dimension and label formats can be customized to your desired style. The style you choose for the template dimension and label will be used for the shop drawing export.
