The refine feature is now available as of the release of PlaceMaker 4.1.0! Make sure you are using the latest version to take advantage of the Refine Feature!
Here are the steps are refining previously imported Google 3D Tiles:
- Select 1 or more imported tile groups. (Each tile is a separate SketchUp group)
- In the PlaceMaker dialog, ensure the 'Refine Selected 3D Tiles' option is checked.
- Click the 'Import 3D Earth' button.
- Click 'Confirm' (this may use PlaceMaker credits)
- The selected 3D tiles will be replaced by more tiles at a higher level of detail.
