Artisan Scale

Artisan Scale is similar to the native SketchUp Scale tool but it has the following key differences:

• Supports selection and scaling of vertices
• Supports scaling of quads
• Supports soft scaling of vertices
• Supports scaling of a single edge
• Maintains quads by auto-folding if tool causes quads to become non-planar
• Cycle 3 axes using the ALT key
• Supports real-time subdivision modeling
• Supports scaling of SketchyFFD control points

Operation

1. (Optional) Preselect entities to scale.
2. Activate the tool
3. Click an entity to scale.
4. Click a green scale grip.
5. Move the mouse to adjust the scale.
6. Click again to complete the scale operation.

Modifiers

• TAB = Toggle soft selection
• ALT = Cycle between LOCAL, WORLD, and VIEW axes modes
• CTRL = Hold to scale about center
• SHIFT = Hold to scale uniformly
